Hi. I'm going to have to repaint my foyer because of water damage...roof leaked!!! We had hail damage two years ago, and the house acroos the street got a new roof. Insurance checked ours two years ago when I called, but they said we didn't need a roof. ugh, but now they come and look at the damage and send us a check, but not before we had wall damage. I've got to replace the drywall in a section, and will have to paint.Go figure. Anyway, I have SW Grassland in the office and soon to be in the dining room. I have BM Lenox Tan in the foyer and want to go just a bit lighter. Anyone have a color suggestion that will look good with Grassland? I don't know how to post more than one pic at a time. Here is the foyer now.

I don't know about the paint color but I'm posting to ask about the dresser in the nook over your front door, never seen that before!

RondaNJ, I knew someone would comment on my doghouse window. It was a big hole, so I dressed it up. Here's a pic from upstairs. I've got a new curtain to put up there when I get a chance.

Did you have a hard time getting the dresser up the ladder? How many people did it take to get it up there? Smile

    Beautiful home, lenie.

We have SW ancient marble in our foyer, which is open to our dining room in grassland, living room in grassland, and den in SW blonde.

I'd suggest asking Fun Colors or Casey in the Colors forum. They are the best.

Well, you can get up there with an 8' ladder. That dresser was heavy! My hubby and nephew got it up there somehow. Hubby said it is going to stay there too. Here is a pic of my office with the SW Grassland looking into the foyer. Please try to suggest a neutral color to blend with this sage color.

We went to our local Parade of Homes today and sage was in! I saw it with yellow, color about the color of your foyer, a darker color of green and white.

What do you think about SW Compatable Cream?

I thought this room was really cool. The MBR alls were painted a contrasting color with the ceiling, in the master bath they switched the wall color for ceiling and walls.

    another darker green but cool

perky2, is the large sample the Compatible Cream, or the one to the left? The large pic looks like the one on the left. I like that color! Can you clarify for me?

Lenie--we chose SW Grassland to go in our office/library (formerly the formal living room) and dining room because it goes really well with the light smoky gray that is in our foyer, hallways, and greatroom (and which is not ever getting changed due to the 2-story ceilings!). I don't have a name for it that would do you any good because it's from a regional paint company (but it was called 'Soft smoke').
