Ok Sonny I will do that. BTW it's a brown pillow. Bummer that the colors look different on everyones monitors.
I've got the pic saved with the rest!
How are you feeling about the stripes? I really like it but yours is the only opinion that matters.
I'm liking it better. I may look for different pillows. Have to see what I can find. Should I get floral?
A floral with the tan and white would be nice. I have a throw from Ballard that has tan ticking stripe on one side and tan/white toile on the other. The 2 are paired a lot. Lots of fun options. Those burlap type fabrics are nice
with tan ticking too.
Annie, I have the tan floral slipcover too remember, it has the pillows that match. I could use those on the tan stripe sofa then, right?
Could I also use some floral pillows in off whites, green and blue? I guess I will have to buy some and see.
Did you find any fabric to frame yet?
I hope the stripe has grown on you as I like it too. I am a fan of mixing pattern scales, contrast and textures. Note how your floral pillow is right at home next to the stripe. You seem to have difficulty making deco decisions in spite of overwhelming feedback so the live-with-it-for-a-time advice was wise. Play with pattern mixes and pops of color to keep things interesting. This should be a fun process. Keep in mind that accessories can be changed out seasonally with this neutral stripe as a background. It is versatile and you should not soon tire of it. enjoy!
Yes, I think your tan floral would be nice. Ticking stripes blend with many fabrics. Add some solids too. Here are a few pics of ticking mixed with other prints. Sorry no tan!
I love it mixed with the suzani....
Great examples, Annie. How fun it will be to play with prints, solids, colors, texturals. This message has been edited. Last edited by: Froo Froo,
Awesome, thanks Annie.
Here is a pic of the tan stripe sofa with the tan floral pillow.
great start, but play with dots of color too. If you go monochromatic be sure to incorporate contrast and textures otherwise things become washed out and there is no dimension. Even black introduced will add drama.
That looks great lilsophie...your options are endless, perfect for the fall season.
I will Froo, thanks for your advice too. I have to go shopping, been busy so havent had time.
Thanks Annielinz....Any more decorating for you in your new home?
I LOVE the stripe ticking cover.
I am what I am because He is I AM!!!
