Love our new TV Hutch

Since the couch reclines, I dont have coffee table. Used to have red shag rug which I love but with 2 cats, it attracts the cat hair bad. I have same rug in the TV Room but the cats dont lay on it in there like they do in here. You can see Izzy in the pics, shes our 19lb cat. Love her.

Kim, I think you have done a great job! I love the white curtains and the way you have hung them. Also the white lampshades which create continuity.

Although the Halloween things are temporary they give a nice accent color balance as do the pillows. Small spaces are challenging to do effectively esp when you have family members also to please and consider.

I even think the cat looks good in this space.

Always......Good to see ya too. Thanks. We got the TV hutch at Menards, it isn't a corner one but works in the corner I like the extra space without the coffee table. Only bad thing is, when more than 1 person sits on the couch, there is only 1 end table. I sit in the recliner all the time and there is an end table there so im good LOL.

Not sure where the Christmas tree is gonna go in a couple of months. Hmmm, any ideas? Its "poofy" so might not work in front of the windows but might try it there.

Mamaspoon....yes we sold the fireplace. Couldn't ever use it because it would pop a breaker, so we sold it to a couple we know.

Small spaces can be challenging but you have made a cozy, comfy looking area. Makes me want to get busy on my small den. Your beautiful cat looks like my mother's cat. Probably just as spoiled too Thanks for sharing.

Georgia Peach....Thanks so much. Yes small spaces are challenging. Izzy is definately spoiled, all 19 lbs of her. We have an orange tabby cat too, he is a fourth of her size haha. They hate each other lol. We had Izzy first and then got Patty and she just doesnt like him at all.
