Hi Sue, are you using a Mac or a PC?

It SOUNDS like the problem is in your printer setup rather than the file set up in which you have created the flyer. Check to see if your print preferences are set to black & white.

Check to see if your colour cartridge is depleted; I have to do this periodically as I uninstalled the printer software that tells me that automatically.

Sounds to me too that the printer is not marked right (right button pushed) think if you were out of ink, no color would print but I'm not an expert.

    Yep, forgot that one, Annie!
(Sort of like..."when in doubt, reboot!)

Also Sue: what program are you using to do your flyer...?

    Thanks for all the help..
PeriParker...I am using Word, a PC, and I have tried reinserting the color cartridge...it is possible that the cartridge needs to be replaced, but my printer has always told me so in the past...hate to spend $40 on a color cartridge if that is not the problem!

Here's a thought, print something else first and then you will see if it is the cartridge or the clip art. Did you check your preferences?

Sue, when you click on Print in Word, go to Preferences or Options...don't know what type of printer you have so don't know what will pop up.

But in mine, there is a Color tab, when you click on that, it has the dropdown box where you can choose to print "automatic" (which prints in colour) or "grayscale" (which prints in black & white.)

If your printer default is set to grayscale or black, then you'll need to manually change that so it'll print in colour.

I have a feeling it is something in printer setup, since you say the screen is showing your flyer in colour.

eta: Previous poster's suggestion to try printing something else & see what it does is a good idea too.
