Sonny, it was your giving heart that created the board's birthday greetings and a true gift to all of us. What a wonderful loving example you've brought to this forum. I know I am not alone in extending a heartfelt thanks for your thoughtfulness. You made us all feel so special. I hope your acts of remembrances return to you threefold. I pray that your troubles will be short lived and you will emerge stronger for them. Please know we are here for you and will never forget what a loving, giving soul you are. Blessings dear friend.

Thank you for doing the birthdays while you did. Of course there is no obligation to do them forever! Hope all is well.

What the others said, Sonny. Although I never really participated in the birthday threads, it was kind of you to keep it up. Mostly I miss your threads of your own decorating. I wish you well.

Thanks Sonny for starting them in the first place. I can't imagine the work you did to keep it going. Don't think any of us had expectations you'd do it forever. Life changes and best wishes in your future endeavors.

I did not participate on those threads, but I know how much effort it took to keep it going, so I applaud you for that. It was a kind and generous effort.

as many of you know I am a rather private person so I dont really share online what the details of an issue I'm having are.

I will say I am working on healing and your kind comments and sweet words will surely add to my "healing in progress"

I appreciate YOU ALL

When I was in 'trouble' with health issues, I hesitated to tell anyone, but knew my friends online would be curious after seeing my posting patterns change and sometimes just NOT be there.

IF I had NOT shared, my recovery (still ongoing after 4 yrs) just would not have been as fast IF I had decided to hibernate. The PM's are there for us to use, and IF you want email contact, just ask your cherished close friends for their email address or phone number!

My DH worked while I was going through surgery recoveries, TG he was building in a development right down the street about a mile away! That was a blessing, because in all his travels during the day he had to pass our house (we had our house on the corner in the entrance to the development) so he popped in about 5-6 times a day to check on me!!! Initially he took a week off to set me up and take care of things around the house (unexpected fall started all this).

My online friends (as soon as I could sit at the computer... I notified my closest trusted friends) and then I could call my friends on the phone to touch base with the real world. I had to type with only my right hand for over a year... but it PAID OFF... I kept in contact and never felt out of touch with the world I knew and was familiar with!

And DESIGN and Decorating stayed in my life even though I lost my business... then we had to sell because the economy wiped out my DH's job... well you get the idea.

All my BEST to you Sonny! I am sending a soft hug and pray all will be OK soon for you! Even if all you do is check in, you will not be far and can just say hi, or read bits of your familiar place online! Smile

It means more than I can say to see todays posts.

Jaysmom , you are a kind soul , you also Mary Ruth.. when I feel I can, I hope the offer to pm and talk will still be on the table.

right now I am still a bit to tender. I do see a distant light at the end of the tunnel and for that I am grateful.

thank you so much for your kindness
