I'm drooling over this chandelier for our dining area, but also need two pendants over the peninsula in our kitchen. I found these beautiful pendants and not sure if they will compliment each other being in the same ares? Unfortunately, there are no matching pendants to the chandelier. My condo is an open concept with the dining area just off the kitchen. Yay or Nay?This message has been edited. Last edited by: Sunny Daze,

Hmmm, I do like both pieces. But I'm just not sure. I think if the pendents were framed in a dark bronze, to match with the dark wood on the chandy. I would say it would look great. But I'm just not liking the silver (or grey) color that pendent has on it.

You are absolutely right! They are both lovely just lovely in their own way and not meant to be together. I was just fixed on the quirky style of the pendants that I totally missed the fact that the metals did not match! When I posted this, I kept going back to the pictures and looking at them thinking "something is off" so when Lilsophie mentioned the finish it was like a slap upside the head! LOL
For now, I'm going with the chandy and will keep looking for pendants!

zone9alady - Thanks so much for the pendants! I went down to a local lighting store today and found that the chandy does have matching pendants. I haven't placed the order yet as I'm still mulling this over. I'm just so partial to the drum shades....drool....

Totally agree with Sunny Daze. A simple metal rod in a matching finish with a nice textured glass shade as similar in color to the linen shade as possible. BTW your chandelier choice is excellent!

I have a star pendant over our kitchen table and it is so gorgeous. I would get them and replace the other one! I just love the Moravian star fixtures... Crazy about them!!!!
