Hello Friends,
I painted my bedroom semi-gloss blue. I like the color and I am wondering what color of furniture goes well with it. I am thinking white like this white colored bed http://www.overstock.com/Home-...30-b5c8-5cb2facd1803 but any other suggestions are also welcome

If you like white furniture, why even question it? It goes fine with almost anything.

White works - it'll be contemporary.

I usually select paint color last and match it with fabrics or a rug or another inspiration piece. Or, if you keep paint color neutral, everything else pops (hate that word, lol). Just my modus operandi -

Good Luck!

Had a question right now by bed has no bedframes. I don't need one for other than decorative purposes because my mattress is on a adjustable base. So what sort of a white bedframe do I go for? I don't need to spend money on a platform bed since I don't need the slats I just need a white headboard + footboard or probably the white headboard only.

Blue walls give you an instant contrast pop. like the creamy white bed - lots of ways to replicate.

I'd add one small piece painted distressed (dark stain over) cobalt (if you are in the sky blue family on the walls) or distressed teal/turquoise (if you are in the blues that have a touch of green in them).

This could be a yard sale find that makes a great nightstand once painted. Here go a deeper tone than you think (1 shade deeper - furniture always needs a darker tone to look right) and use eggshell since your walls are glossy.

Layering the blues in tonal terms will make the walls seems intentional and richer for the contrast.

My daughter's bedroom walls are blue and she chose a dark stained queen bed with head board and foot board and it looks beautiful with the blue walls. All the trim and doors are white. She is going to go with all dark furniture.
