I have only put out the wreath that has been posted before. Will add a flag "bouguet" on the day for the front stoop. If we eat outside, will use a red gingham tablecoth with blue bandana print napkins. Ds is working that day, so we won't have the grandsons. We have done ours on the 3rd in the past. Maybe afterwards this year. Depends on when we have the guys. I would love to see photos of your tablesettings, tablescapes, outdoor decorations etc. ETA: Opps, forgot the photo. This message has been edited. Lovely! Emily, your home looks like a Saturday Evening Post cover. Have no pix to share, but in our neighborhood, on all major holidays, a team of volunteers plants miniature flags in front of everyone's homes. It is so festive to see the long winding streets lined with 100s of waving flags.

Lady of Shallot, always a pleasure to see pictures of your home. Love your front porch. Argree with Aychihuahua about looking like a Saturday Evening Post cover. Aychihuahua, our downtown puts out flags and it so good to see so many. Sure wish more neighbors put out flags. We used to display a larger one. No longer have the windowbox where the bracket was installed. Miss putting it out. This message has been edited. The front of Linderhof with flags flying for our Nation's Birthday! I always pick a bouquet of red and white (and sometimes blue) flowers for a blue and white pitcher on the breakfast room table . . . and we use red napkins with our blue and white transferware! Martha ![]()
