I'm sure they are X-pensive, but wondered if it would be worth it? I have horrible posture/rounded shoulders and right cup never fits properly.

Any experiences? TX!

I tried. She tried to fit me to how SHE felt it should fit, NOT to how I want it to feel!! If I wanted a slovenly loose fit that gives no support I wouldn't have gone to her. Also, she wanted to use 100% cotton. I did NOT want that. It has a horrible fit with no give.

After a couple of hours I just left.

That was in another state. There's a place locally and I'm thinking of giving them a look-see.

No, but I have often wished for custom-made shoes. I see 50's and 60's movies with the actresses running up and down stairs in spike heels and I marvel. Did I really ever do that? And every time I see footage of Jackie Kennedy walking in the funeral procession, I wonder how much she had to have paid for those high heels and were her feet comfortable or was that yet another nightmare she had to endure.

Index, I saw Enell bras being touted on Steven and Chris so I decided to try one. They hook in the front and provide great support. Also, the straps DO NOT fall off the shoulder!!! Yes, it was expensive (in the $60+ range) but I liked it well enough to order a second one.

I did once in the mid 60's -cost $40 which was a lot then and today, the lady insisted that I get one made of nylon fabric and I got a shock everytime I touched metal and it fit awful. Had a breast reduction in 2004 and have no problem now.

my mother took me to one of the now departed dept stores in los angles, bullocks, and had me fitted...I believe it was my first bali bra...

now I wear just my size front closure, under $20...nice wide back, ect...it even felt ok after having my lumpectomy...(had to wear 24-7 till it healed)

I gave up underwire before the kids were born...but you always wonder if it cause problems year later? now as soon as I get home from anyplace that's the first thing that goes, lol....

Custom fit bra and custom made in my mind are two different things...

custom fit would be you go to the store and they measure and decide what style, size etc etc is best for your measurements but that doesn't mean you're gonna get a good fit. well at least in my case...I don't have enough to fill the cup all the way so I always end up with gappage as I call it.

A custom made bra made to fit your figure and breast size and shape would be AWESOME!!

always, you are right about custom made. None of us on these boards will ever have a Howard Hughes to design a bra for us as he did for Jane Russell! But the topic DID remind me that I'd love custom-made shoes!
