PLEASE HELP! :)
Ok so I decided to re-decorate my bedroom but I am STUCK as to what to do.

My walls are a blue-grey color, you can see the color here:

This is my bedroom set:

Over the bed, I am putting this wall decal:

My closet slides open and has a huge mirror that covers one wall. The bed headboard covers one wall. There's a large window on the wall facing the closet.

Now I have one wall that is completely blank. I don't have a dresser or anything in there because I have a huge closet, and all my clothes fit in there. I also don't have a tv in my bedroom and don't plan on putting one in there.

So what can I do with the blank wall? Also, what color curtains would look good with my comforter set?

I love animals, especially cats, deer, birds and owls. I like the colors purple, green and blue since it's in my comforter set.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated as I'm really no good with this stuff!! Smile

How about a seating arrangement or chaise longue, if there's room.

Or, a console table with mirror, that can serve as a vanity or writing desk.

Create an accent wall with wallpaper in a boldly patterned birds and floral motif, for instance. Or use a roll of wallpaper to make instant art. http://www.bhg.com/decorating/...rojects/?rb=Y#page=3

For window treatments curtains, hang floor length white sheers on a slender decorative rod. Make them full, for privacy. http://www.overstock.com/Home-...ins/6422/subcat.html

Good luck!

I don't have a suggestion but wanted to say I really like what you have chosen so far.

I was going to suggest a desk but Aychi beat me to it. Maybe a bench for storage.

As I have recently re-purposed an Armoire, you can add shelving to the interior for extra linen, pillow and blanket storage (and books)! You can also add an upholstered chair next to it.

Aside from the blank wall, how much floor space do you have w/o compromising traffic flow? If space permits, consider any of the suggestions posed as well as factoring in your use for the space. If floor space is lacking, address the wall. A large framed piece of art or enlarged photography will reflect the mood you seek. Floating ledges in a staggered configuration will afford space that offers flexibility for art and shall 3D accessory display. If floor space is large enough, a chaise w/ floor lamp or twin chairs w/ small table and lamp will serve the same purpose. A vanity w/ buffet lamps might be another option. A potted tree, large wall fountain, hanging a printed rug or tapestry from a decorative rod, a grouping of black and white photos, a large iron wall sconce, are additional options for the blank wall.

Draw inspiration for walls, floor and windows from your new comforter. Mix in print scales, hue values and textures. Do not overlook the impact of lighting in your design plan.
