I just love this little cart used by the bed. Do you think it is a thrift store item or do they still sell them?

I see they are called bar carts....you might look under "tea carts". I had one and sold it on a garage sale a couple of years ago....mine was oblong but would have worked for what you wanted it for....Looks pretty as a bed side table.

Check with the home stores too. They are hit and miss though. Do you have a local bedding store? They may have the carts on display.

May, do you think there is a handle on this cart but it is not showing?

BR, thanks for all the hard work!

I stopped at a used furniture/junk shop today. He knew exactly what I wanted and said he has had them in the past. I will keep checking but I did pick up a 3 tiered brass table with a similar look.

One more (cart) for the road. Found this in the new catalog and thought of your post.

I like how it would work with different decorating styles too.

my tea cart had brass handles but were unobtrusive so could be used for a bedside table. I like the idea.

annie if they're solid brass..you're paying recent metals rates...most of the ones recently are plated, so less...
