Hi, the photographer we hired to shoot photos of the show house room I did just emailed me the preview pics. Can I forward pictures from an email to the message boards?

Sure Charles, just download them to your desk top then import into your photo site (in case they need to be downsized) otherwise just pick them up from your desktop to the post.

Can't wait to see them.

BTW we have a Mac so that is the only way I know how to do photos, but think you do need them on your desk top for anything.

Charles D,
The reason you cannot post directly from your email, is that it is not on your hard drive to take the file from. Your outgoing cannot snag what came in an email to send with proper 'file location, where located to send'.

Like LOS said, download the photos from your email, then when in a folder, you can then upload or send out again.

Of course you need to have the files at 150MB for HGTV boards to accept, for ease, you can reply and then upload each photo with remarks. Go to file you saved photos in and open each photo with Microsoft Paint program and then choose 'resize' and then choose 'save as' to save a smaller copy, I add sm to the end of the name of the photo so that I save the original large format photo as well. You will need to try a few times till you get the right size, most photos need at least 40% size reduction to fit this HGTV format requirement.

Nice of you to want to share the showhouse room you did yourself on here!

If you have Paint on your puter, send them there to resize and you can import from there.

Thanks everyone! I think I figured it out and posted the first pic under Mansion In May. If I can remember how I did it I'll post another one!
