Does anyone have a favorite brand of SC. The ones I'm using now are dk brown knit and they make everything look too drab for summer. I need to lighten up the room but hate my sofa & LS. Thanks.

Never had on other than in a furnished apt. Are you handy...can you make you own with white sheets? ...for summer?

That's a great idea. I don't think I would be that good a seamstress but I've been tempted to try. Thanks for reply.

Check out the vast assortment of slipcovers at Surefit.com. You can do a google and other slipcover sources will be available too. Many offer catalogs and fabric samples. I have ordered w/ success from Surefit and another brand tho the name escapes me and I'm not home to look it up. Doing careful measuring of furniture is a must, but slipcovers are quite durable, frequantly washable and come in many colors, patterns, styles and textures.

I bought a couple of Surefit covers this year, wanted to give my living room a summer look.

I've purchased slipcovers from Overstock.com. I don't know what brand, but the price was right.

I like twill or muslin in light colors for a summer look. Just make sure you check measurements of your furniture and check the slipcover measurements as well.

I once ordered slipcovers from Surefit for our dining room chairs and they were made very well for the price.

I can also recommend this one after having success equal to Surefit brand. You can request samples as I did because I needed a white wing slipcover and was leary that the dark upholstery might show thru. Good service and quality product here too.
