Two years ago I recovered my dining room chairs and really liked the fabric but our 22 year old cat would climb on them and not being as agile, would "claw" herself up. Needless to say, two of the chairs looked "clawed"!
I decided that I'd like to recover the chairs in mohair -- which IS expensive but at fabric guru you can find "remnants" at a reasonable price.
I kept looking but never "pulled the trigger" to buy the fabric . . . until I received a 20% off coupon.
I ordered, it came and I redid the chairs.
It really is brown -- but in my dining room it looks green -- perhaps because of the wallpaper.
I like the more "classic" look of the mohair -- it seems timeless which the other seats did not.
Beautiful! And I like the mix that the new color and softness brings to the room.
I am sure NOT ONLY are your guests greeted with fantastic food scents in the air from your baking GREAT food you serve Atmosphere in your home Your wonderful style AND NOW... LUSH seating! I want to make a reservation!

Mohair is one of my favorite fabrics. I've been thinking about having my sofa reupholstered in it, but I'll have to decide what color I want and find a great fabric sale. Your chairs look terrific and that color will be so versatile.
Very nice! Adds just one more layer of luxury to an already wonderful room!
Makes me realize I must learn how to balance the colors on my new laptop as the chair seats look grey on my monitor! Everything else looks as if it could be correct.
