Does anyone have any inspiration pictures for decorating with crocks? I have several and want to display them but not all over the place. I am thinking as a grouping together. I have been googling to see if I can find any but nothing good so far.

With just a quick visit to Google Images I found these links. If none of these are to your liking perhaps posting your own crocks might elicit more suggestions as to how to decorate with them. My crocks are currently in a cupboard but I've used them as cachepots for kitchen utensils and plants, and just on their own for their simple beauty. Scroll down halfway on this blog to see crocks on countertop with wooden utensils: http://www.behindmyreddoor.com...8_08_10_archive.html Some nice pics of crocks here: http://www.cleanmama.net/2012/...ers-week-crocks.html Decorating with antique crocks: http://allthatbringsjoy.blogsp...-antique-crocks.html Country kitchen: http://www.jennyerb.com/country-kitchen/ The Lettered Cottage: http://theletteredcottage.net/...corating-link-party/This message has been edited. Thank you very much joyluck! I am going to go look at them now. I didn't see these. Do you think they can be used even if not decorating the whole room in country? I used to have everything decorated country but not anymore.

Especially look at the first pic at this link: http://www.cleanmama.net/2012/...ers-week-crocks.html It shows a fresh eclectic vibe that I really like and it's not old style country at all. So depending on your color scheme, what other items are in the room, and how you use the crocks IMO they can be made to look 'less country'. some great inspirational photo links given here. Crocks, I think can fit in any decor! I hope to add a few to my home in the future. Good luck finding the inspiration you need for your displays!

I Had my smaller ones on a display shelf in my kitchen flanking a wide framed pic of crocks. I know your question was how to as a group, but like you, I like a lil' country but moving away from everything country. I now have them all over, one in my guest bath as waste basket with the picture that was in my kitchen, use one for my kitchen untensils, some as planters. I saw a photo of using large crock as a Christmas tree stand. I love seeing the larger ones on front porches. I think they can have an ecclectic vibe as joylock says. I don't think they are specifically country, so do what makes you happy with them. This message has been edited. Last edited by: mmtsh,

Thank you for all your replies! I think I am going to try to place them in different places and see how that looks. I will take a pic for you if it looks good

This is a quick pic of my foyer - I use the crocks for storage - dog leashes in the small, misc. seasonal items in the large. Difficult angle to catch w/the camera without opening the front door - but you get the idea I don't know how things are in other regions - but here crocks are now really low in value. I find really nice pieces for very little cost - the 8 gallon in this photo was only around forty or so.This message has been edited. Last edited by: junk collector,
