Oh I just saw this thread. So excited for you. You've done a lot of work so far. I like what you picked out for the sink and faucet, etc. Can't wait to see the finished project!

Wow, now that makes a big difference. Glad you came home to that. And I know you are too. Do you have knobs and pulls chosen. Would love to see if you do?

I was pleasantly surprised to see them in place yesterday. Hoping the other side will be installed today Smile
Cara Rose, I just received my bin pulls yesterday in the mail. Since I had brushed nickel knobs on my cabinets before, I decided to reuse them since they were relatively new and update it with some brushed nickel pulls on the drawers. I found these on Amazon for what I thought was a good deal.
Here's a pic of the pulls:

Well I love those Annie Linz. In fact, I have the exact same ones on my kitchen cabs but in ORB. I also got them on Amazon. The price was amazing, and I had to buy knobs also. Dh spray painted the hinges with ORB paint.

Enjoy those...

Always I'm going with a granite.
I was all set on a black honed granite, but when I looked at it, it just seemed too taste specific. So I went with a granite I've always had my eye on. Its called Santa Rita, its very similar to the Santa Cecilia. It has some black, caramel, tan, white and dots of burgandy in it. I think it will be more forgiving than the black granite. I'm keeping my fingers crossed it works. Its been so long since I've seen the slab who knows what I'm going to get.
Here's what I remember it looking like...

That looks like the granite we picked out for our new condo, except ours is called Venetian Gold. I think we will both love it.

Thanks everyone.

I am really pleased with the progress so far. I realized yesterday was week three of being without a kitchen. I didn't take a picture, but yesterday he texturized (sp) the rest of the kitchen walls so its ready to be primed then painted. He also removed the ceiling fan, boy that won't be missed! I'm going out of town for a week so I'll be curious to see how much he gets done while I'm gone.

Always, I'm going to be green with envy when this is all done! Speaking of green when he removed the crown molding there was the a strip of my former green walls....what was I thinking when I painted it that color!!!
