neednew lighting in kitchen. cabinets are natural birch-counter top is a stone type product, style is sort of country--and we hate recessed lights--also kitchen is medium small.

Have you checked out Lowes? I recently bought new fixtures and found alot of fun ideas in their Allen and Roth line.

Is this similar? It is from Barn Light Electric.

head to a lighting showroom...I stopped in one tonite because i am looking for new kitchen lights, too. I had forgotten what they had - and more importantly, the knowledge that they possess. They were instrumental in helping me determine the amount of wattage that I needed in order to get enough light in there. Lowes can't do that(well - most of the time they can't.)
