Another board (not sure which) or just HGTV board members started a Pinterest photo storage site to save photos.
This might be a good idea for Christmas decor this year, or whatever.
A group board can be made by someone starting a board with the name everyone would identify with (the one I found has HGTV.com boards in the title, then can be found in a search.
Then the people who want to post can have their name added to who can post on that community board (the person who starts it sends invite to those who can post) So, we can share motivational OR post our OWN homes on there. Mind you it won't be PRIVATE (neither is this board) but it can be a FREE community place to post photos!
The photos do not have to be of our homes, it can be ANYTHING we want to share and don't mind if someone else pins.
I think it is a good idea to label your photo with your HGTV screen name and HGTV board also put on photo so that if the link is lost, the photo will be easily identified by anyone where it came from.
What do you think?
I would be happy to label a photo for anyone who cannot do so (amount within reason, lol) or I can put an easy tutorial on here using Microsoft Paint which comes with everyone's Windows operating system. Easy to do.
IF you do not have a Pinterest account (FREE) then a photo can be transferred from here to that community board if you so wish. Even if you DO NOT have a Pinterest account, you can view all photos just can't comment, or save photos.
Would LOVE your opinions!
A link could be posted on this board, such as other boards are and updated once a week or so, then bumped to keep it floating for others to find. This message has been edited. Last edited by: Mary Ruth,

Here is an example of using Pinterest to store information and how to find it on HGTV boards:
One of the posts has a circle with a line through it (means no image) BUT leads to a thread! You write the name of the thread, and you have the link stored there!
We could put 'Home Links' and MMF's of past finds! Or post separate photos!
