Hi Ladies

I found chair on Craigslist and will paint the legs white, I want to put it in the left corner between the windows but haven't bought it yet.

I am in the process of changing the room but just recently found the bedding, it is a white textured quilt, will get a white bedskirt, lavender sheets and different pillows.

The window treatments, I am changing to bamboo blinds and white cotton/linen drapes.

I'm standing in the room trying to picture whether or not this chair would look good or not, I have to let the woman know if I want it. The yellow is carried in the room a few times but is the pattern okay or too busy? Even with the changes I am making which will tone it down, not sure if the fabric will work but I do have a vase with birds on it and the quilt has vines.

The eyelet duvet I bougt a while ago, selling, never used it, it looked okay but not great in the room. How people do this without going bonkers is beyond me, haha. I love creating, just wish I was better at it

Chair, will paint legs white

I think it's a nice chair, but bring some yellow into the room and it will be fine.

That is exactly what I am going to do, the majority of the rest of the house is yellow, in making it "lighter" I thought this could work.

Whew, the sound of crickets on my post was making me nervous, hahaha.

I appreciate any and all comments, that is how I learn.

I agree, that's why I liked it and because it has vines, flowers and birds which I have elsewhere in the room.

Hope Isaac doesn't do much over the weekend, I'm headed to the store tomorrow to pick up a few things. Stay safe!

Love the chair but I keep thinking about you painting the legs white....maybe more of an off white than a brilliant white???

The chair is a nice pop of color, go for it!

I agree, I will paint it an off white, I haven't seen the chair in person yet but there are pillows in this fabric on Etsy that say it is an off white.

Love, love, love that fabric! And I love yellow, too. I would so snatch that chair from you in a heartbeat! Ha! I actually love the dark legs as I think it warms the piece up. I think you should keep the legs dark until you finish your room. Then if you still don't like them dark, you could change to an off-white. Fabulous find!

The fabric is awesome, that's what sold it!

The rest of the furniture in my bedroom is white which is why I was going to paint the legs. I will wait until the room is done to see how it looks.

The chair is from Pottery Barn, I looked it up but didn't see that fabric on their site but as I mentioned, I did find it on pillows on Etsy.
