Has anyone used Empire carpet?
I'm looking for carpet and vinyl.

They get pretty lousy reviews in my area. Google Empire Carpet reviews and see how your local store rates.

Personally, I prefer a locally owned flooring store for the best service and prices.

Go to a locally owned carpet store. I find their prices are just as good as big box stores and their customer service and knowledge is hands and heads above the rest.

I agree with Cavin and Becca. A locally owned store is going to be the most reliable place to buy carpet. Most of them employ their own installers too, which means they will stand behind the finished product. Box stores tend to use subcontractors for their labor.

I got my carpet from this site. I think they are on sale right now and they got a variety of carpets to choose from. I don't have the time to shop over stores so I go for online shopping. Smile

Both Empire Carpet and Lumber Liquidators get horrible reviews in my area.
