I'd like to hang some long panels on my covered patio in the corners and someone be able to easily take them down in the wintertime. I don't need for them to slide..I will tie them back. Any ideas?

IKEA has great inexpensive panels that may work for you.

How about swing rods?

I prefer the light, breezy Ikea panels for outdoors, too.

Here's a sample of a swing arm that Froo mentioned that I have on my back deck. These only extend out about 1 1/2 feet each to frame the area, not completely enclose it but it is easy to just unscrew the end and slide the curtains off. This example is a doorway bead curtain I was unable to sell at my garage sale so I just cut it in half and framed my eating area on the deck. This was a swing arm I had from another project a few years ago -- I got it at Joann Fabric on sale for $6 for the pair.

Depending on the length needed shower curtains might work.

Here are outdoor panels.

Do you sew? Easy to make your panels using outdoor fabrics too. Painter's cloth from the paint department work well also.

Who knew there was a website devoted to outdoor curtains? Hope this helps: http://outdoorcurtainsonly.com...TPmbECFWVvTAodrixAdQ

I went to the electrical aisle at Home Depot and bought a ten foot metal (aluminum? Steel?) rod for $4.OO, the brackets were $1.98 each. I found taupe polyester machine washable panels with grommet tops at Home Godds for $25. per pair so my deck has a very cool looking sun screen for around $58.00.

We kinda did the same as Charles D. Made our own.

Bought a 10ft 1" copper pipe, attached end caps and angle, then hung it on a gate hanger so it swings back and forth, then hung outdoor grommet curtains. They remove easily for washing.
