Hello again and happy Monday everyone! So happy to be back from vacation and looking forward to seeing everyone's goodies.

Giant thank you to Beau's Rose for keeping MMF going in my absence. I know we all appreciate it, so thank you againSmile

Who wants to get us started? Please share pics, if you're able or just tell us about any new or favorite finds.

I have some pics of our lake house decorating that I promised to share so I'll start a different thread some day next week.

Okay, let the sharing begin.....

Welcome back! I can't wait to see the lake house pictures! I'm starting to pull out my autumn decor, but nothing's ready to photograph yet. I hope by next week, I'll have some photos to share. I did win four small leaf plates on eBay. I thought I would try to incorporate them into my Thanksgiving table setting in some way.

Welcome back Skyler, hope you had a great time!

Your plates are very pretty Gracie and will be a nice accent on a Thanksgiving table (but let's not rush fall LOL)

I found this cute wagon last Monday at the swap shop. Hope we can use it to help us move the cord of wood our neighbor gave us.

Lots of yard sales around and DD & I took a nice country ride to one last week. I got a large Bates chenille spread, some vintage curtains (I'm a pushover for linens) and she got an iron that is pointed at both ends?????

I also got a Wedgwood container thing that I will use for q-tips.

Oh and last week also at the SS I got an oriental rug that I think might be real. There were several rugs and things this couple brought in and they all smelled very bad.

We had terrific weather last week and I put this on the hammock and hosed it thoroughly with cold water. Several days in the sun and it is pliable and sweet smelling!

LOS, it sounds like you and DD took home a bundle of treasures! Your wagon is great.

Welcome home, Skyler! I can't wait to see your vacation photos!

Graciejp, autumn is my favorite season. I love the plates you won. I know you will find many uses for them.

Emily, you and your DD sure had some luck! I love the wagon. It would be great loaded with pumpkins and mums, too!

Sonny, bee-u-ti-ful!You must be so happy to see your LR coming together again!

We went to a locol country fair and I bought a beautiful poster depicting sheep. That will be framed and go to camp. I intend to have a poster for each year we own the cabin. (They are dated). I DID find my "back to school"
outfits all fit nicely. The slow cooker is back in
service. I changed out the sunflowers that were in DH's
Grandfather's pack basket for willow branches with mini
lights and golden leaves.

That's a great idea, Mary Ann. Think I will do that or some variation of. Maybe something to scare trick or treaters? They love stuff like that!

Thanks Sonny and Maine Lady!

Sonny, nice sofa and loveseat and they do look very comfy. Three weeks empty isn't too bad...I think my dininig room sat empty for a few years until I found the chairs I wanted!

Linderhof, no finds this week??? You ALWAYS have finds Smile

Maine Lady, so happy things are getting back to normal for you and DH. I know it's been a long road.

Your sheep poster sounds lovely. There is something very calming about those furry little ones. Enjoy.

My DH had to buy a tool this week, and right near there was a Thrift store (GW) and so I told him I would go there and he could get his tool! He joined me and looked around with me. I was mainly checking out the baskets.

MY FINDS THIS WEEK:
The silver colored tray is made in India, and I will use to put Tea pot on or wine bottle at dinner table got for .99

My baskets are to help gather harvest from the herb garden.

The large basket was .99 (says Stonewall Kitchen and has a wood base), and the little flat basket to the right was .69. The small round one in front to the left is German and I bought in Virginia at a thrift store.

The dried branch is Stevia I just brought in and dried to put in a jar. Most of my herbs I dry in the dehydrator, but I had a large crop this time.

These sit at my second sink station (stainless drainboard to right of integrated sink) we are working on in the small pantry room next to the kitchen. We are about to start tiling the walls with white subway tiles.

I was checking back in and saw Lady of Shallot's terrific wheeled cart that looks like it will be useful and decorative.

Sonny Dayz, those sofas look comfortable.

Maine Lady, glad that all your work clothes fit. Mine sure don't...LOL!

Mary Ruth, I love your baskets. The ones with handles look perfect for gathering herbs.

Skyler!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Your home is absolutely breathtaking. I have always read about your "finds" and could never take a look. My old and ancient computer never loaded correctly, or in a timely manner to view pictures...

I have a new computer and just took the time to see what everyone else has known for quite awhile.

Your home is the one that I would want, but could never assemble. Your eye for feminine and pleasing detail just makes me grin.

How very lucky your family is, to live in such a relaxing, and romantic, environment. You are an inspiration!

To all other posters, I loved looking at your wonderful and pinch-me-and-tell-me-I'm-not-dreaming-finds.

I love flea markets and have not gone to one in years. I am going to find myself one this season, thanks to you fine ladies.

I keep saying it...You are some awesome folks!

talkingrose,
Oh how wonderful for you that you have a NEW computer and can see our pictures! I am glad you will enjoy a more rich experience online now!
The internet world is out there for you to explore!

Thrift store treasure hunts are amazing! When I find something then only have to dig out change to buy it, feels good!

Linderhof, we'll stay tuned until next week. Happy hunting!

Mary Ruth, drats it does look like spammers found us Frown

LOL, isn't it funny how us treasure seekers can absolutely NEVER pass up a thrift store?
Your finds are great. I have a weakness for nice looking baskets and I really like yours. Perfect to use in gathering harvest. I can just picture you out there with your basket, big hat and sundress on Smile Hmmmm, maybe I've seen too many movies! Thank you for sharing with us.

Skyler,
You got it almost right, except flip flops, shorts and big T shirt (so I can toss it right into the wash when done with outdoor chores). The big hat is a large sun visor and sun glasses. When I wear a sundress it is to the beach or shopping!

I don't mind you imagining me as long as you color me youthful and pretty! LOL At least I can stay young in someone's imagination! LOL
