Hello Guys, Drawers that do not extend all the way out of the cabinet when open can be frustrating, especially when you have to reach into the back of the drawer for needed items. This problem is solved with the installation of full-extension drawer slides, which allow the drawer to extend out of the cabinet fully, revealing the entire contents of the drawer. One drawback is that it may be a little more difficult to remove the drawer from the cabinet with these types of slides. Some full-extension slides may have a release button, while some require a special tool. Thanks a lot! John marrison http://www.emoderndecor.com/This message has been edited. DH installed all stainless steel, ball bearing full extension drawer slides when he built the new cabinets. They are readily available at Lowes or Home Depot in different weight and length categories. Ours have a small flip lever on each side to release the drawer, I would not consider it a drawback but a safety measure to keep you from pulling the whole drawer and it's contents on to your feet.. There are also several woodworking catalogs that sell any type: http://www.rockler.com/index.c...uH3LQCFQSqnQodSHYAKA http://www.vandykes.com/defaul...GH3LQCFRRbnAodklUAbA http://woodworker.com/c-Hardware-drawer-slides/This message has been edited.
