Everyone- I am in desperate need for your help. I want to move my LR to this space that is currently my DR. I love the big room, but the problem is there is no wall space for a TV. We have a leather sectional I'm thinking about floating. Any ideas? The bay window, stairs, and open doorways are hard to work with.
The photo above was greyed out but saw your RMS pix. Looks like a nice, large and comfortable room and a beautiful home.
Not sure exactly how you plan to position the sectional. One TV option - why not place it on a low movable console (hiding the components) and angle it in the larger corner, the one that currently holds the china hutch? Or, again depending on the sectional placement, how about the other large corner, adjacent to the piano? (ETA: Is the piano leaving?)
If the TV console's movable, you could then pull it out slightly, if necessary, for better viewing. I'd rather use a larger corner than one of the smaller ones.
Where/how (facing what) will the sectional be placed?

I suggest you edit your second post on this thread and post a pic of your room to get more responses. I don't know why you tried to post such a large pic when your roomzaar site has smaller ones that will work here. Hmmm... Perhaps you are trying to boost the number of viewings at your roomzaar site?
Anyhow, about your room arrangement - it looks as if this room was intended originally as a LR, not a DR. Whenever arranging furniture one has to start with the most difficult piece which in your case seems to be the TV. I would try it on the stairway wall where the piano now is. Then float the sectional sofa across from it whichever way it fits. If it's a large sectional you might need to place the largest section of it on the window wall. The piano can go where the china cabinet now is. If you have a sofa table it can go behind the sofa section across from the piano.
Since you didn't give any room or furniture dimensions it's impossible to know how this will all fit but these are my best suggestions with the limited info available.

Why couldn't you just position your sofa with its back to the window facing that painting which you would remove, and place your TV on that wall instead? I don't see the problem, but then again, I don't see that particular space well either. It looks like it is doable and it would save you a lot of space from having to have the TV on a table etc.
The piano appears too large for its current location. May be preferable to expose the woodwork behind it or create a built-in book nook in that space. Might be distracting for TV viewing to be facing that direction with people either coming in the door or down the stairs.
The sectional could have its back to either the window or entryway and then angle the TV on a movable console in one of those large corners. If necessary, you can place a console table behind the sectional, facing the entryway. (That's if you don't care to walk into the back of it.)
Don't know the dimensions of your sectional or how many configurations are possible so I'm assuming the scale's correct for these possible configurations.

TV can be placed on wall where large hutch is. In fact, a TV can be placed in just about any corner of this room depending on it's size. Corner tv placements always provides good viewing no matter where you sit.
I agree with placing the tv in the corner where the china hutch is and that having it on a diagonal will allow optimum viewing. That being said, the glare from the bay window will become an issue so using more sunblocking window treatments (blinds, shades, shutters to name a few options) will be a must. Otherwise, if space permits, any corner will do tho I see a heating vent on the wall near the piano which is an issue. Keep in mind that cable hook up will no doubt be another concern tho not impossible. The floating sectional can go in any direction with consideration re. traffic flow.

I would leave the piano right where it is. The tv could be in the corner where the big picture is. And a couch across from the tv. A chair beside it. I'm not much of a decorator, but I do like the room. And I would not move that piano out!
