What type of table is this? Sign In/Join

Was wondering if anyone can help to identify this type of table. It belonged to my mother-in-law.

As you can see, it has intricate carving and the top is marble.

Any ideas of the type or where I could go to ask someone?

I agree with Love, Lu. It most likely is Rosewood and is oriental in style. My MIL has several of these in varying sizes with marble tops. Hers are all rosewood.

I checked and yep - it's Asian/Oriental carved Rosewood. I'll make a note of that.

Rita.... It's good to "see" you also. I remember seeing photos of your MIL's incredible home and furnishings. PRICELESS !!
