I need ideas for putting molding strips on plain interior doors. I thought I had saved some a while back, but can't find them.

A blog that has directions for applying molding to a hollow-core interior door.

Here's the doors I did a few years ago...hallway has 3 BR doors, 1 BA door and 2 closet doors...all were flat hollow core doors that I painted white, along with all the trim.

Played with painters tape in several configurations until I found the one I liked best. Jack was there casting his vote for this design.

Just used some moulding glue to adhere it to the door. No nails. The painters tape kept it nice and tight to the door until the glue was dry. Looks a bit like Frankenstein...Again Jack was there helping with the level.

The finished door. I really like the difference it made. I think they give the hallway some architecture that my 1963 split level desperately needed.
