Wishing everyone a wonderful Monday! Time to share pictures or just tell us about any terrific finds you've recently uncovered. Goodies can be old or new and come from anywhere...flea markets, thrift stores, yard/garage sales, your favorite store etc. We always love to hear what you paid so we can marvel at your bargain.

So show us what ya got!

It is spring cleanup/college graduation around here.Last night was just the beginning. I picked up 2 wicker chairs,a small end table, little tykes scooter and easel, a cradle,2 lamps, and a school desk. I made the big decision to not be embarrassed and remind myself everytime I jump out of the car with all the lights off that I am recycling.

Wow Dianne, sounds like you got a haul! I would be jumping out of the car too. I wish folks in my neighborhood would put goodies out.

Well, I didn't get to find anything at the auction like I was hoping Frown, 'cause my brother came down to help install a new front door Smile. But I did get this sweet little trinket box at a garage sale for 50 cents on friday. The elephant was 25 cents last summer.

    Hi!

Did visit a neighbor's yard sale Sat. am. The only thing I got was some Chri$tmas ball ornaments in an unusal shade of red. Not the usual Chri$tmas red. We have a cranberry chair in the room, so thought maybe they would pick up that red. No picture of them.

    Cute trinket box.

I have been enjoying last week's "find" and not noticing the flaws as much. Thanks for the encouragement.

Nice to hear about people's free finds, I never get any of those so have to "make-do" with yard sales!

DH got a really good deal - a set of new router bits for $10 so I'll have to design more things for him to make! Wink

Some of my finds were a metal table base for the deck (thinking of a mosaic project for that), two small stained glass stepping stones for the garden, and a set of four heavy table legs which will be a future project.

Skyler, do any of your surrounding towns have a spring clean up, where the town DPW will pick up stuff on a given day? That is what happens here besides the college stuff. Otherwise we have to pay for garbage pickup. I typed in Spring Cleanup and different surrounding towns and got dates for different neighborhoods. I love garage sales especially townwide ones, too.

There was a tag sale down the street from Tammy and John this weekend and saturday after the parade we went down to see what was left. It was mostly gone but we found a great coffee table for the front parlor. I made this pic during our historic home tour as it probably won`t bee this clean again for months!

Strings, the Christmas balls sound wonderful. Sometimes the stores don't have the colors we need so maybe you've found just the cranberry you've been looking for. Thanks so much for sharing and be sure to share those Christmas ornaments at Christmas!

Tyme, I'm not able to see the birdcage. Wish I could because I love birdcages and have quite a few myself.

Joyluck!!! I'm so glad your yard/garage sale season is on because you never cease to amaze me with your finds! I think the table base is screaming for a mosaic and you're just the creative force to do it. Great stepping stones can't wait to see how you use them.

Hey Becca, I understand about the front door. Just post pictures when you can as we can't wait to see them. Wait, you're forgiven...the gorgeous crabapple pictures are wonderful. Wow, you're so lucky, they really are pretty.

Went to just one garage sale and came home with treasures. Pictures to follow:

A -- an arbor for my fairy garden

B -- two great old looking flower pots and a
    rusty lantern

C -- a great picture for the guest room

    Total -- $16!

Oh, mine is so totally not decorating, but I've got to share it! I've talked my dh into a new wedding ring, and here is the one I've picked out!!!
