which company do you think makes the brightest white exterior paint?
i want blindingly white trim color...flat ...
any suggestions? thanks...
I agree, Benjamin Moore is my favorite paint. They make a lot of whites.
One thing about whites though, is that they are especially good at picking up color from the environment. The colors of the trees, vegetation, sky etc will reflect onto the white and change it's look. So your individual location/situation will create your own altered white.
So, it will be important to test a few whites to get something that you like. Just pick a few contenders, and buy a sample pot of those colors. Paint a large poster board in each color and tape them up on your house and then observe. Go out and have a look in the morning, at noon, in the evening, etc as the color will change with the light as the day goes on. If you take the time to test color, then you won't be one of those people who say, "the color isn't what I expected. I wish I had picked something else, but now the painting is done so I'll have to live with it."
i thought i invented the poster board samples! that's exactly what i'm doing...thanks...
