What is the easiest way to paint down near the floor so you don't get it on the carpet????
This is the only room we have that does not have molding at the base...just carpet. So, how do we do this???

You can use a paint shield or good ole masking tape...

I use a paint shield and if I can't find it I have used cardboard or even the thin card board from cereal boxes, etc. You just have to continually wipe off the shield or with card board I wipe them for a while then use a new one.

Don't forget the dropcloth. That's an absolute necessity.

Just make sure you don't have to much paint on the brush.
