Hi all! Well as this past weekends project I have came across and redone these end/ bedside tables & this dresser..
I found a deal, and liked them.. as always not sure what I am going to do with them, but i have had fun revisiting a lost hobby.. :0
i picked up the tables for $20 for the pair, and painted them black & distressed them.
The dresser is solid wood, was $30.. it had to have some major sanding... but it turned out nice.. it would be a pretty buffet for a dining room. since i already had paint, i used the same color scheme as the desk I done a week ago.
You got a great deal on those.
Kudos! Those took a lot of elbow grease and turned out very nice.
well, just got rid of the dresser .. had not even been done 24 hrs lol.. a lady loved it and made me a nice offer
Good for you...I LOVE those side tables.
Wow what a difference, great job! And those prices, wish I could be that lucky and find a pair of tables for that. I don't know how you do all that work. I just put the last coat of paint on a project I have been working on and I tell ya my whole body is sore lol
You do fast work - all in a weekend? Great job and hope you had a tidy profit on the dresser.
both pieces are lovely. Great job.
Beautiful! Good work! I like the way the furniture came out!
So nice to hear you are enjoying your hobby again! Thanks for the inspiration and posting the pics.
They look great with the makeover. Congrats on the sale too. Now to find more pieces for you to re-do.

~So are the days of our lives
You've done a great job on all three pieces, as usual.
Congratulations on selling the dresser.
Good job! I have always wanted to try to refinish something, but have never tried. May when it gets warm I will give it a try.
What a great find! They look wonderful with their new finishes, good job!
Grandmas my name & spoilins my game!
Wow...just WOW! One question: Is the wall behind the tables a brown paper wall? I really like it, whatever it is.
Trudi : it's just a decorative finish paint that i done about 3 years ago.. It is a Ralph Lauren Brushed Suede finish.. A lot of people call it 'AGED LEATHER" which i prefer ..
They no longer carry the paints, but it can be acheived with regular paint, as can most finishes where they try and sale you overpriced paint, lol..
Nice job- they look great!
Isn't that the truth?!!!! You did a nice job...love it.
you do great work! How did you achieve the detail on the two matching tables? is it a different paint color on the edges or is that sanding? when you say you "distressed" it, how do you do that? Beautiful pieces!
The detail was achieved with a mix of hand sanding and i also use a very fine grit sanding disc on an air powered die grinder.. It has also skint and sctrached here & there with an automotive gasket scraper, lol.. I have found these to be awesome..
