I thought Hometalk was another talk forum but there seems to be another site with the same name with decor ad diy discussion, pics, etc. Kind of like pinterest only with comments.

Is this new? Anyone followed for awhile? Just curious on how I missed it. Thanks!!

You mean on FB? the second one I found says 'funded by the o2ThinkBig project. That is an organization to raise the awareness to our generation of homelessness.

Then there is the one where they show projects and comment. You work that with your blog links too...

MR,

I thought HT was another talk forum. Isn't there one by that name? Today I found the site with the same name that shows decor, projects and comments. So that is where bloggers show their projects? I haven't looked closely but I see decor pics so I had to check it out!

OH the board online and then the FB Hometalk one... not sure if they are connected. I like the Hometalk on FB, the projects are from bloggers so you can follow for instructions... interesting, I know quite a few online friends who follow it....on FB

I have not visited the Hometalk board in years. Sarah visited on here a few weeks ago and brought up that regular online board again, I had no idea it was still going....

Where I saw the name HT and the pics I thought it was the talk forum. Then I realized it was a different site. Apparently it has been around for awhile and I just missed it. Thanks!

Lucky, yes that was the one I found and thought HT forums had really improved! Big Grin Then I realized it was a different site. Since it is new to lilsophie also, I'm feeling a little better!

I follow the hometalk.com also. I check it out every day along with Pinterest. I didn't understand the conversation a few weeks ago about Hometalk being a disagreeable site (infighting? -- I can remember the exact comments). However, I do not actually read the comments or make comments. I just look type in a subject, look at pics, and read directions if interested. I'll have to check out the FB site.

ETA: I just checked out the FB page and will stick to the hometalk.com site. There, I can enter a subject, i.e. wreaths, painted furniture, garden, fences, etc. and everything comes up with full size pics, most recent first.

Last night I had to close out of a subject and go to bed without running out of things to look at -- forget what the subject was -- but it kept on going and going and going.

I believe those comments were about the Hometalk forums. 2 sites having the same name is kind of confusing! lilsophie posted the link for the talk forum above if you want to check it out.
