Some of you may remember that I posted about my DGD graduating as Salutatorian (and my teensy little rant)...well, she thought she would be entering college as a sophomore but she just found out she was mistaken. Turns out she has 58 credits, making her a junior! Wowser! She won't even be 18 until late October.

Don't feel that you need to comment...you were all so sweet with your congratulations on the last post that I'm still basking in the glow!

What a fabulous accomplishment and you and your family must be so proud. I personally know of no one who has made the leap from HS to 3rd yr of college.

That is wonderful Belstone! I remember you writing about this before. I believe she actually took the courses at college is that correct? Not college level courses taught in her h.s.?

My grands have consistently taken college level or AP courses in h.s. but it did not advance my DGD in going to college. (although it sure helped my DGS get a 99 & 97 on his NYS regents exams which are geared to the regular courses)

Will she be going to a university or a small college? I wish her every success in her college career.
