Hey all...You may have remembered when I posted about my living room...

I have found some chairs that I fell in love with, but i just want to make sure that it fits with style/color...


The first picture is my room and the second is a link to Craigslist with the chairs in question...

Please tell me your opinions on if you think they will be a good addition to the room!

The chairs you're looking at look like they'd be a good addition to the room.

I like your sofa, very nice. I'm thinking the chairs look too big. And I think another color of chair would look a lot better.

I remember you and the top shelf for your unit!

I think the chairs are too similar with the square tufting. And the shape is similar but arms and scale are not the same. I think they are too deep.

If you could find some club, or tub (round) chairs?

Beautiful room! Your room is well coordinated and pleasing to the eye.

I like your room and I like the chairs, but I think they are too large for your room. Perhaps the owner would give you the measurements and you could plot the size using paper on the floor or something. Also, the chairs look very worn, so they would probably need to be reupholstered.

I don't think they look warn but do think they look like they might be too big.

In the second picture, I was looking at the ends of the arms when I said I thought they looked worn.

The picture when you are facing the chair, does look like it has some wear...on the arms rests.

and unless you are into vintage, I think the price is WAY too high.

I do like the brown chairs to match your couch though.

Just my opinion though. I don't expect anyone to share it.

Well...contrary to everyone's opinion about the chairs being too big for my room...I didn't end up buying them because in person they were freakishly small!!! LOL!

I LOVED the look, but waaaayyy too small! They would be better served in a studio apartment or the like.

Back to the drawing board!
