A Love Affair With Paint Sign In/Join

Since the weather has been warm enough to paint for about 2 months now, we've been back at the exterior painting. The house has 2 coats on 3/4 of the body and the storage building and well house are finished. We're very pleased with hos its coming out. Who knows, we might actually get this whole place painted!

Ya gotta love paint for the way it changes things!

Here are the outbuildings. Awesome, huh???

And the front of the house. Donnie's prepping the side porch on the left and I'm working the garage on the right. We stay out of each others way that way. Smile

Wish the pics looked like it does IRL. People around are delighted with the changes and sometimes stop their cars to tell us so. Interesting. Maybe it will motivate someone else who has been procrastinating on their own project.

FYI, I stopped by to visit TLR yesterday and have a peek at her projects. She's still in the prep stage, so there's not much pretty to see, but she had started on a little section of the kitchen and I can tell it's going to be absolutely fab. Tammy's BACK! It will be worth the wait. We bounced off some ideas about the outside too. Can't wait to see that either!

It will be a while before she's got pics since she's working the whole thing by herself, but be patient. It'll be great!

Christie - Please forgive my rudeness!! It IS amazing on wha a difference paint can make!! Everything - house and outbuildings look wonderful and so happy the white is gone!

Mary Ruth - I've been learning that my energy level is different these days or rather my joints are!! Lol And I still can't compete with Christie in the amount of work she can get done in a period of time at all! I am so much slower!!! But my motivation is definitely back and I'm excited with the direction it is heading! As Christie said to me the other day, you'll definitely recognize me in the end product!

LOL. By early afternoon I'll probably be high up in the middle of something that I'll be dying to take a break from, so come on over! We'll goof off a while!

MR, yes, we're making progress little by little. I was looking at last years photos of just the property. It's amazing how you don't realize how much you've accomplished until you look back at where you started. That's the only motivation I have some days! Smile

Wow!I really like how it's coming along. You do an amazing amount of work.
I'm inspired!
The blue looks great...much more interesting and alive.
I also like that you took the sidewalk plants out. I know you'll be putting something in that will really set the whole thing off.

Glad you posted the pictures;I love watching other people work!

Tammy, Looking forward to kitchen pics too!
