I have a recliner that is similar to a wing-back recliner, without the wings. So it has legs and the far end of the foot rest folds up under the chair. I would like to cover it to lighten up my room a bit -- I have searched all the normal sites that come up on a google search for "recliner slipcovers", i.e. Target, Walmart, SureFit, Overstock, etc.

Any more ideas or sources? Appreciate your help. Thanks.

ETA: This is the exact chair that I have -- pic is from web. I have also searched "hi-leg recliner slipcovers" but they still come up as wingbacks. Bummer.

Froo - I posted a pic in the original post.

A1SB - I checked the site -- no match. Those covers for the wingbacks are just what I need -- without the WINGS!

Love your recliner! May I ask where you purchased it?

I actually got the chair at Sheely's in North Lima, OH -- don't know if that's near you or not. It was a Lane chair. But I also found the chair available at JC Penney's:

It's really comfortable -- it's my everyday tv watching chair. I'm just ready for a color change but it's looking like I'm not going to find a cover for it.

if you're very clever have seen a piece of fabric tucked and pinned into place....now how long it might stay depends on how tight you can get it...

we have a sectional and the love seat size and sofa size are what i used..but with all the usage, it slips and slides all over the place...

now what you might do is check out the price of slip covers from a upholstery shop...pricey but will fit, and with the right fabric, wash and replace...

Actually I had not even considered that but it is a great idea ... cheaper than buying a new chair and I could pick out the perfect pattern/color. Thanks for the inspiration.
