2 sheltiesChristmas Florida Style- Cape Coral area
If I remember correctly there are a few posters on the board that live in the area.
We will be visiting SE CC and are interested in viewing outdoor Christmas decorations- Are there any neighborhoods in the area that compete?
Any holiday happenings we should check out?
Also looking for tourist ideas, nice beaches, good resturants, etc.
We have been to the Edison/Ford homes, and the Manatee Park by the Power plant.
TIA

Beau's RoseHi Shelties,
We are on the other coast but you might look at the local paper on line and see if there are any boat parades scheduled. It's always festive to see the boats with all the lights and decorations at night.
I hope you enjoy the warm sunshine and your holiday!

mamaspoonThere's boat parades and canal cruises with homes all decked out. Try the Capt JP in FM or the King Fisher Fleet in Punta Gorda for info. Beaches- none better than Sanibel or Ft Myers Beach beaches. Sanibel is great for shelling. The Shell Factory in North FM has a lot going on as well. Our paper is just starting to publish all the upcoming happenings-Fort Myers News Press- access that online. If I think of other stuff I will add to post.

WWandaSounds fun. Be sure to let us know how it was. I would be particularly interested since DH wants to move to CC in a few years.

Mary RuthI live on mid East Coast so not near that area, if anyone finds photos that would be great.
I used to attend the boat parade each year when I lived in Fort Lauderdale.
