our DGD wanted to spend some time this weekend with us. She wanted to visit our discount store. While there she wanted to buy some fleece to make her dad a throw.

So I met her in the fabric department and she showed me what she liked, which was a geometric rather native American looking print. The thing is she wanted two fabrics both the same print but different color ways. I would have chosen one print and a solid for the other fabric or two diff prints but same colorways. I did tell her what I would like but she of course picked out what she wanted.

Plus she got two yards each and as the fleece is 60" wide that is going to be one big throw, but I'm sure her Dad will love it!

It will be interesting to see her taste evolve and develop.

This is her dorm l.r.

I agree that it's interesting to watch their tastes evolve. At times I initially don't agree with what my daughters choose, but then I realize how creative their visions are!
