Froo Froo, Emily, mamaspoon,Cassia and AK Sunny thank you so much. Yesterday was a wonderful day, filled with celebration, and yes, cake!

Quick update: last week DH and I saw his shoulder specialist. DH's mobility has improved dramatically since our last visit. He does have muscle weakness and atrophy, but now that his arm muscles and shoulder are working better strengthening exercises are being added. On Wednesday morning, DH came out buttoning up his shirt!!!! Another thing he was told he would not be able to do. All of his hard work, dedication and belief that he will overcome this tragedy combined with the multitude of prayers offered for him are producing amazing results. We indeed have much to celebrate.

ML, so happy to hear of your DH's amazing progress. Keep the faith and take care of each other. Blessings to you both.

Yes, Belstone, my birthday has been most happy. Thank you! DH's accident happened on the night of DD's 25th bday. He was hospitalized for his birthday and for DS's 22nd bday. Having us all together, out of a hospital setting feels glorious.
