I plan on hanging approx 108" back tab drapery panels in the guest bedroom (ceiling to floor+). Is it ok for them to 'puddle' and by how much. If they only have an inch puddled on the floor - does it look like I measured incorrectly? thanks

Just my honest opinion...but no. The back tab panels have a tailored look-no puddles.

If they are an inch too long simply hang the rod an inch higher.

I agree w/ BR. Puddling is a more formal look and also the weight of the fabric should be considered for proper puddling. When you DO puddle, it should be a bit more than one inch too.

I concur. I think you'll be happier with the look if they don't puddle.

Agree with other posters. Puddling drapes is a look meant for very structured drapes with both lining and flannel interlining. It's not meant for more casual panels like tab tops. They won't fall right.

I agree on the responses as well on not to puddle the curtains...But what I would suggest is to make sure you hang your rods up high enough so they just barely touch the floor. Also depending on width of curtains and the window, you may want to consider mounting the rod to extend out a bit outside of the casing equal on each side will give a larger illusion to the window.....and if you have access to a fabric steamer to take out any creases or wrinkles they will hang much nicer for you.
