above is my front porch-the vines on the trellace have been cut down as we just had the exterior painted,,they will grow back, but looks bare without them. next is a back patio old swing-great for reading my paper with morning coffee in the summer, and a warm afternoon sunny space in the winter for relaxing with a good book.

I have to say, I'm green with envy. We are still working on out exterior. Last year we re-did half of our flower beds and will be finishing them this year. We also laid a brick walkway last year but still need to extend it.
Next year, we will be extending our deck so we can put a canopy up. I should have pics next year hopefully.
This is one of the two flower beds we did over and we still have two larger ones yet to go.

This is a very short video that shows how much even a very small water feature like the two we have in our yard can add to the ambiance of an outdoor space!
Brenda, it looks like you have a very large outdoor space. I really like the stacked stones to edge the garden area. That must have been a job to lay them!
Brenda, your sitting area reminds me how much I enjoyed as a child sitting out in the yard in the dark and talking. Your space probably is used in that same way, isn't it?
