My friend and I went for a mini tour of her old neighborhood the other day and came across this charming play house. I went back today to take pics. Sadly it had a lot of toys around it, spoiling the view!

another view. I think this is adorable. Funnily enough the house on the same lot is very contemporary.

Cute, reminds me of a children's storybook house, like Dr. Seuss.

I too have a craving for green eggs and ham. Razz

LOVE the whimsical feel of this playhouse down to the sloped roof and dormer window. The white trim against the bold green emphasizes the animated design. It's definitely a DIY for the most novice of carpenters too. Throw away the dang level folks. Forget about measuring twice too. It has that playful feel a playhouse should have. Thanks for sharing.

LOL I didn't think Dr. Suess at first thought. Maybe it's the Santa stake next to the door, but my first thought was drunken elves! Big Grin

I love this!

My rules to live by: If life gets hectic and chaotic, clean out closets. Purge often. Keep everything neutral, because we never know what our next house will be like. Embrace life to the fullest, take nothing for granted, and always remember what's REALLY important.

I hope you are joking about this Froo, as it's really a project for an expert carpenter otherwise it may fall down on the kiddies' heads. There are quite intricate angles in this structure which would require good carpentry skills to build safely.
