Hello Wave

I thought I would start a new thread to ask where you got your awesome bathroom vanity? I think I remember you said you got a deal and it had a broken piece? (if I remember correctly from an old post)

Anyway, my 14 yr old wants the Hayworth vanity from Pier 1 and it is kind of pricey so I thought I would see if you had and ideas on how to find it for less? Basically she wants a mirrored makeup vanity.

BTW, I love your style, your home is beautiful, and I love that your and Hubby are do-it-yourselfers like we are.

Thx,Kelly

She doesn't check here daily but I will send her a message letting her know you are asking her a question. She told me where she got the vanity but darn if I can remember where it was. She is Canadian so I know it was in Canada.

Hi Kelly. Thanks, I'm loving the addition of blues.

I got my vanity at Bowring. It is a higher end store. This vanity was marked wayyyyyy down due to having, I believe, 4 pieces of the mirror cracked.

I always look for clearance items and I don't mind if they are not perfect, any kind of damage means greater saving. I know that most anything can be fixed.

I know that in our City, HomeSense is always bringing in mirrored furniture. As far as I know, T.J. Maxx · Marshalls · HomeGoods are all owned my the same company so you may want to check those stores in your area. I am at this store once a week, every week. They mark things down every weed and bring new stuff in every day. If you do find what you are looking for at any store, look for damage. Even the slightest damage can get you a discount.

Remember, you may not have to buy both pieces, perhaps you could find a less expensive table and order the mirror or vica versa. Shop around and see what you could put together to make it work. you could purchase 3 seperate mirrors (one large, two slightly smaller) and hinge them yourself. If they have a different colored frame, paint the frame. Just use your imagination.

Is this where you found it? it is on sale on this site.

Hope this helps some. Just use your imagination and I'm sure you'll find a less expensive solution, I know you will.

Target sells some mirrored pieces but all I have seen lately is mirrored bed tables. Pretty but small.
