Love this Christmas decor sharing. Lets all share any other areas around the house in and out,,garlands, wreaths, front doors--etc.
Always enjoy this little vintage village, these little houses are the ojly survivors from my Childhood. Then we had them on our mantle when my kids were little. They were packed away for many years, and now for the last 5 years or so I have peen putting them in my living room, as my mantle is just too big and they would be lost.

Homebody4, love your displays. Christmas all through the house. TFS Also, thanks for starting this thread.
Ditto on sharing more decorations! When I started hanging out several years ago, there were lots of photos of stairways, porches, doors, vignettes and tablesettings. Please keep sharing.
Btw, I get a lot of envy---I don't have a mantel, stairway or a porch worthy of a lot of decor. Keep thinking I will redo my door wreath, but running out of time.
I haven't tweaked my village yet, so no photos yet. Very late decorating this year. This message has been edited. Last edited by: Strings,

Homebody,Love the winter picture and the village.I am wanting to start a church only village.Maybe use them in my tree. And major envy on handrailings too...I want to go decorate my BiLs handrails bad. They dont decorate them at all,and the house is stunning. It is begging to be decorated and looks lonely
sms, love the chest with all the carvings. It is gorgeous. You have done a wonderful job decorating.I dont decorate with red, only at Christmas.I am like you I change out artwork & all decor everywhere.
I have at least 6-7 folders with Christmas inspiration pics.
Here's my little snowman on the shelf of my "business center" -- printer, supplies, router shelves. I like lots of little snowmen because they can stay out till March.
These are all in my little kitchen. As I look at the pics, I realize everything, absolutely everything, except for a Jim Shore snowman on the buffet, is second hand thrift buys or I made the items myself. This message has been edited. Last edited by: MyLifeVacation1,
It is so much fun seeing the special things everyone is doing around the house for Christmas.
I am going to share a display from my dining room that I started last year and am continuing this year. I used some of the doll dishes that I have been accumulating since I was about 7 or 8 years old. I have a habit of picking up old doll tea sets or single pieces at garage sales and thrift shops.
First a doll place setting using a combination of things I found here and there.

It is -- thanks for remembering! I just saw another buffet today that I wanted to get to convert to an island....it was in an antique/used furniture store. But I'm leaving for the south here next week so I am going to wait -- if its still there when I get back in a couple of months, then it was meant to be mine.
