Curtains and slanting ceilings
I have modular home where the ceilings slant downward. I recently took my curtains down to wash them. I discovered a lot more light comes in but I want to put something back up so that the rod for the lace curtains and the mini blinds do not show. There is exactly 12" from the ceiling to the window. Is it okay to place curtain top at the highest point of the wall?

Sure, if doable hang the curtain up to the ceiling line. I did so in the case of a double window under a soffit in my kitchen and again in my living room. BTW, I also like to have my window dressings on such windows to hang down close to the floor. This visually elevates the ceiling.

if you're not quite sure, tack up the curtain, for a day or 2 before moving the rods...my one window in the bedroom drives me a bit crazy as one side is at ceiling height and the other 6" lower, lol...

Cafe curtains can be good option because you can use it whenever you need privacy and shut down the bottom panel which allow the inflow of natural light.
