I am trying to put the finishing touches on my
Coastal bedroom. I have 2 matching mirrors I would like to use over each nite table- but- the tables dont match.. They are the same height and similar style but one is a small chest and the other is a table.. Would the mirrors still work?

thanks

Hi Emily...

actually I havent hung them yet as they are very heavy and would require one of those Large Screws lol.. I am trying to avoid making holes since I cleaned patched sanded and painted the room..

therefore I have no photos.. I tried standing it up there but unless I am holding it with both hands it will fall- so again- thats why no pics..

thank you for responding . I do appreciate it

I think it will work. I would make sure to hang both of the mirrors at the same height and the same distance from the headboard, regardless of the differences in the nightstands. I would follow up with a matched pair of lamps, and mis-matched accessories.

thank you Charles. I will keep height and placement in mind..

I have mismatched accessories and matching lamps, as you suggested..

Hopefully I can finish it some time this weekend and post photos.

yes Wendy I sure will.
I've already run into a problem though..

Charles said- same height and distance from the headboard... I can get them the same height but the bed is off center of the wall , so left mirror would be much further away than the right..
hmmm.. now what? Smile

Charles D,
Right on, I agree!

Can't wait to see your pictures!

I plan on doing the same thing, mirrors same, but my nightstand/dressers will be the same. I am not a symmetrical 'have to have' type person, but in this case I will use that similar sides look in my Master bedroom.

I had to go swipe the matching side table from another room and I just got the primer coat of paint on it.. Then It'll take at least 2 coats with drying time in between..

guess I'll have to use the chest in another area.

Sonny,

Will the night tables be wider than the mirrors? I hope you get the spacing figured out so it works.

Not sure how much room is left if you used the chests. Would a floor lamp work on the off-centered side?

Use over-sized hangers for those heavy mirrors. Good luck!
