Does anyone know what color/brand of "white" will match the Andersen Windows prefinished white interior trim??

The thought of looking at all those whites to find the right one is scaring me badly Frown

    Thanks

I worried about matching the white up when we had vinyl replacement windows put in last year. Finally I just took the leap and slapped on some Devonshire white left over from painting the beardboard in the bathroom. It's not perfect, but honestly, it's so close no one would ever notice. If you're worried, get yourself some samples and slap them up. I used 1 coat primer and two coats of the white. You can see the yellowy-brown color on the baseboards that I painted over. Those will be the next targets to get a coat of clean white paint.

Hi Tam. I found the following on the Andersen site:

    Painting

    Q. How do I match Andersen's paint formula?

    A. Andersen has paint chips available for a paint supplier to use for matching sandtone, TerratoneĀ®, forest green and white colors. We recommend ordering a semi-gloss paint for similar sheen appearance and verifying the color on the paint chip matches the color the client is trying to achieve.

Froo notes: Tho I tried to access more specific info, all I can pass onto you is their toll free customer service no. so that you can inquire Tam. It's

I have white Anderson Vinyl windows and my builder used SW Extra White. I think it looks fine but something a bit warmer would also work.

    Froo Froo--

I have the "paint chips" from Andersen. Unfortunately they are made of plastic and are for the for the exterior paint colors. I do have some extra pieces of trim--I will saw off a smaller piece to use for comparisons. Was just hoping for a "quick fix". Trying to keep from getting totally overwhelmed in building our new home.

I really appreciate your help. I will call them though to be sure there is also another set for the interior.

I'm sure you are right. I just so remember my Mom trying to find the right shade of white for carpeting years ago Smile

BTW, your room is lovely. What color are the walls?

It's Behr's Silver Mushroom. It was the first thing we painted when we moved into our house 7 years ago and I really never tire of it. At the risk of sounding like Goldilocks...it's not too dark, it's not too light, it's JUST right.

Thanks for sharing your paint color. Not sure where I can use it--we have a long ways to go before painting.
