holy cow do not want to scare ya'all
how do I reduce it? It was a picture of me so I went back to my acct. and changed it to one of the old standard avatars. so we will see if it is large when this posts.

Looks like you solved your avatar size!

I uploaded one regular small photo and it is tiny on the garden boards and HUGE on the decorating boards..

Clearly they still have some technical issues to work out on this site.
