You may have seen my other post. But I am starting from scratch so thought I'd just start a whole new thread.

I will start with my work area lighting because that will be the hardest to find (I think). I will then go from there. Attached is my kitchen. We recently removed an ugly flourescent fixture in the middle of the space (where the wires are hanging). I want to put something there but don't think track looks right or another flourescent.

We have 9 foot ceilings. We plan to install under cabinet lighting so that will help. I neet to know what will work. My hardware is ORB, so I think I will stick with that. My style is hopefully going come off as updated country/contemperary country farmhouse. Right now, I am thinking semi-flush? I will attach more ideas I have found.

    Here is my kitchen.

We plan on replacing the linoleum w/ laminate or HW in the near (hopefully) future.

I am planning to replace all lighting, but am concentrating on where the wires hang down from the middle of the room...

#4--this one isn't semi flush, but thought I could hang it short.

Melk, I am "multitasking" this afternoon but I put up the first two for you...will do the others as I take breaks.

If you will post your ideas for replacing the pendant over the table, I can put that in as well so you can see the lights together...

here is # 1. Size may not be on target as I have no idea the size of the fixtures but tried to get proportioned as best as possible.

duh...posted the one I was working on.
    Let's try again...here is # 1

Actually #4 and #5 go together. One is not a real semi-flush so could hang over the table.

Hey Melk, I didn't get # 3 finished yet...it has a lot of cutouts & I haven't done it well enough yet so you can tell what it looks like.
I know you like that one a lot so don't want to post something that will make you go...yuk!
