We're trying to get this LR together, but I'm at a loss as to the window treatments. I think I want a black iron rod with some type of finials, straight panels that go to the floor, not sure about a print or non-print, I like the curtain rings to hold them and I'd like to not cover up the woodwork, just to sit to the side. They won't be used, just for show. Can you give me some ideas of what will look right in here? I'd like to keep it light and airy too. This is one window, there is another, it's bigger, but I didn't snap a pic of it tonight and I'm too lazy to go back upstairs....same window, only wider.

Since you'd like the woodwork to be showcased, how about shutters? You can opt to feature one above the other..both capable of being opened. This may require a custom fitting however. Keep in mind that they can be louvered, plantation or feature fabric inserts. The latter style would add color and perhaps pattern interest. The shutters should be stained to match your trim work.

Your woodwork is gorgeous! I wouldn't want to cover it, either. I like Froo's idea of shutters w/fabric inserts. Consider fabric shades as well. You need to introduce color and pattern on the window. Your furniture is a mix of styles, and the style of fabric would bring it all together.
Your window is narrow. In order to widen it visually, you can hang something on the walls on either side. I would do a collection of small items hung vertically...plates, small prints, that sort of thing. You could also apply fabric rectangles to the wall and frame them with molding. Think outdoor shutters, not the shutters perse, but the space they would occupy. I love your vintage furniture pieces, as well as the vintage look of your rug. Think vintage in your fabric choice and wall hangings, and it will be beautiful!

I think I would do exactly as you said, but add wood blinds that match the woodwork. The blinds would be functional (and underscore that gorgeous woodwork) and the panels would be decorative.
As for print vs. no print, if you have enough prints, I'd opt for solid.
I think you need some color in your room - unless you're going for a monochromatic scheme - but your house has victorian elements to it and the vics were all about color and lots of "stuff" everywhere. Here are a few pics that I've saved over the years that reveal the woodwork with their Wt. Hope they help!
