Great idea.

(I also used press'n seal when my husband had surgery. Pressed it over the stitches so he could take a shower. Stuck great and kept the incision dry.)

Another tip - I use the regular roller as far in as it will reach, then I use a little mini foam roller to reach the remaining area behind the toilet tank.

Yes, it's a difficult area to reach. In fact, this pic's site showed a flat foam roller taped to a ruler or something similar to extend the reach.

Good idea with the wrap!

I do like Nitalynn though and use smaller rollers. If paint gets on the tank, it's easy to wipe off right away. I seldom cover anything when painting except a drop cloth on the floor.

We hope no one will pop the tank to check your paint technique...LOL.

We drain the tank and take it off, it's not that hard and then you dont have it in the way

If you dont wan to take it off, put a kitchen size garabge bag over it
